In Prose of Bogolan

Kapok Studios presents a collection of ten poems by Amma Birago. A gallery performance of the young woman's journal who comes from a small town in French West Africa. She explains her account of hope, home and community during the Second World War. Come and enjoy small bites at 6.30pm on the 6th of September as the story unfolds before our very eyes in this special exhibition.

Everliving Ghana

French photographer Denis Dailleux will showcase his work on Ghana at the ArchiAfrika Gallery in Jamestown. The photographer has known Ghana for several years and has a sentimental attachment to the Jamestown

community that are reflected in his arts.

Founder's Treat

Celebrate, commemorate and honour the founder of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. This is a fashion,

music and art show with a full Ghanaian culture ambience. Live musical performances from artists such as Irene Logan, Paulina Oduro, Efya, Wiyaala, Okyeame Kwame and Trigmatic. There will be flying of sky lanterns to climax the event and express gratitude to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

67th Annual Chale Wote Street Art Festival
